Well .. bummer Chris. Something must have corrupted the file in the conversion process. All of the data files show a 25 minute recording with essentially nothing in it. Even the size of the file appears correct for our usual shows. Every backup has the same thing.

Guess it's lost to history :-(

When I get a chance, I will look around for any more recovery tricks that might appear.

Just wanted to let you know that the file is broken - it's all silent after like 1:30 :(
If you fix this, please mail me back, as I'd like to listen to it :)

Best wishes,

Knowledge is key and buyer beware. Know what your SEO company is doing before you hire them. If they use content farms, you're basically out of luck and may never regain your footing in any search engine.

Great podcast... so glad you guys were able to get Dups on the show! I really like what I am seeing from Empire Avenue... sure, nothing is a universal tool that eliminates the need for anything else, but I use Empire Avenue for so many different things. So, I recommend that everybody gives it a try - at least to monitor their network scores!

Yes, it does work on Android but remember who owns this market. Android is still behind in ownership over the iPhone and Google doesn't have a tablet anywhere in sight. Apple is still a leader in this mobile market and will be for a long time to come. Something to think about.

Content farms had been a long time problem some SEO's says that this technique could be a big help not knowing that it could also be a reason for their site to get penalized. SEO is a big world there are plenty of techniques to use but you must be really careful on implementing these techniques or strategies.

Another great way to use Google Analytics is to download the data on what keywords your visitors have used to find your site. If you don't have good content on some of the specific search terms you see in that list, build it out because they are proven traffic sources!

Multiple domains could be a problem with Google seeing all of your URLs as unique domains, and indexing them as if they are separate websites. The reason that this is a problem is twofold: (1) it splits your “page authority” values between the two sites, to the detriment of both, and (2) Google and other search engines may interpret your pages as duplicated content, and remove the duplicated pages from its index for one or both URLs.

The information in your podcast regarding the need to avoid pointing parked domains to the IP address of a website was new to me. I wasn't able to find any further documentation on this. Do you have any references that you can share?

One of my clients has a long domain name that they use for their website. The have a second domain name which contains similar key words and is parked and points to the same website as the long domain name. If I understood the comment on the podcast, this could hurt their SEO rankings. Did I understand it correctly?
